The online leader in Kickboxing themed virtual workouts
Peak Performance got its start inside a very successful martial arts school in Burlington, Ontario in 2014. This program was so successful that it was spun off into its own business, opening Peak Performance Cardio Kickboxing in 2017. That program grew to over 200 active members. Sadly, due to covid, the programs pivoted to online platforms and the brick and mortar facilities were shuttered in 2020.
All courses are taught by Coach Dusty and Coach Kim.
Coach Dusty has been training in the martial arts since 1978, teaching since 1987 and is a 6th degree black belt and former national level competitor, having competed in point karate, continuous karate and kickboxing all over North America winning numerous titles throughout the late 1980s and 1990s until he retired from competition in 1998 and focused on coaching. in 2006 he was one of the coaches of the Canadian team that went to the World championships in Busan, South Korea, resulting in numerous Team Canada members winning gold, silver and bronze medals in their respective categories.
Coach Kim is the co-founder of two martial arts businesses is Burlington Ontario. She co-founded Sidekicks School of Martial arts in 2000 and holds a first degree black belt. Kimberly also co-founded Peak Performance Cardio Kickboxing in 2014 and has been instrumental in writing the curriculum, teaching the classes and training her awesome instructors. Kimberly holds a certificate in resistance band training and has recently completed her 200 hour yoga certification course. This also covers chair yoga as well as restorative yoga for those looking for some deep relaxation. Currently Kimberly is working towards her 2nd degree black belt and her reiki level 2. On her down time Kimberly likes to read, hike and meditate.
